1. Lumbio's role
Lumbio may act as manufacturer, importer and distributor of electrical equipment. To fulfil related obligations, Lumbio is connected to a collective take-back system for electrical equipment.
The specific take-back process always depends on the type of equipment, project scope, logistics and conditions of the relevant system.
2. What Lumbio can arrange
When replacing existing lighting with a Lumbio solution, Lumbio can, within a reasonable scope, arrange take-back of replaced electrical equipment, transfer for professional processing and handling of electrical waste in accordance with legal rules.
3. When take-back applies
Take-back typically applies to electrical equipment replaced by a newly supplied Lumbio solution, usually up to the scope corresponding to the new supply. The exact process and logistics must always be coordinated with the specific project, installation date and site readiness.
This information follows the general obligations for handling electrical waste under the currently applicable Czech legal framework for waste management and take-back of electrical equipment.
4. How to proceed
If you need removal of replaced electrical equipment, let us know ideally during offer preparation, order confirmation or before the implementation itself. This helps align take-back with installation and prevents operational complications.
To arrange take-back, contact us at info@lumbio.cz or by phone at +420 773 791 207.
5. Why organized take-back matters
- Electrical equipment does not end up in mixed waste, but in a controlled take-back system.
- Waste is handed over to an authorized processor or connected collection system.
- Material and environmental impact is reduced and secondary raw-material recovery is supported.
6. Marking of electrical equipment
Electrical equipment placed on the market is marked with the separate collection symbol. This symbol means that the equipment does not belong in municipal waste at the end of its life, but in a separate electrical waste collection system.
Thank you for helping protect the environment and save primary raw materials.
